Why not leave it as praise for quidco? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

Thats not strictly true.
Depends on the animal and the food. Although obviously there is nothing wrong in slaughtering some animals for food I would argue that the way foie gras is created is unacceptable to most people. I also have issues with Veal.
Still most people seem happy to wear leather jackets and yet are very much against wearing fur. It seems a contradiction. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I definitely agree with you here.Still most people seem happy to wear leather jackets and yet are very much against wearing fur. It seems a contradiction.
I don't mind wearing leather (shoes, mainly), because I know that the animal was slaughtered for food (which at least fits in with the general pattern of a lot of life on earth even if there are still possible philosophical objections). Fur generally comes from animals that are bred to be killed just so that people can think they look good.
If I thought that an animal was being killed just to make my shoes I would make great efforts to switch to fabric uppers (and I would imagine there would be much greater variety of canvas type shoes if cows were killed purely to make clothing. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

I wear fur. I now wont use Quidco because they have bowed down to the minority who do not want fur to be sold.
Quidco is there for the consumer to save money. By doing this they have denied the consumer money saving/cashback opportunities. That is not good customer service whatsoever no matter your morals.
As it is I will now go back to Topcashback to spend my money, and I spend an awful lot per month via Quidco so its they who are losing out."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -

I'm also impressed that they managed to get "!!!!" past the swear filter as well0 -
