    Hi,

Aware this is an older post but thought I would just let you know what I use.... Crest Supreme whitening strips. I purchase them off line and use them every so often. Maybe once every 2 months or so.

Just be aware your tooth shade is genetic so it will never be whiter than it is meant to be it will only ever take off the build up.

As an alternative I am told rubbing the inside of banana skin on your teeth whitens them...but I don't like banana so I can't comment on the validity of this he he.

it is illegal to sell crest whitening strips anywhere in the UK or EU because they contain hundreds of times the legally allowed concentration of hydrogen peroxide.

So anyone buying them is buying from someone who knows it is an illegal product . You have no guarantee what actually is in the product you have bought, what concentration it is and whether it is still in date.

So anyone buying these strips should be aware they are going to put an unknown chemical inside their body bought from somone who is knowingly breaking the law.

    No - it doesn't!
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

See Brook's post - they're illegal in this country.

Wrong - properly done (Ie by a dentist) tooth whitening will change the internal colour of a tooth. It is true that there is basically a 'maximum' whiteness that you can get a real tooth to though, and it's nowhere near Simon Cowell levels!

Never heard this one, but there's nothing in a banana that would whiten teeth.
