Small Claims Court guide

I do believe you were unwise to start a small claims court action.
You have suffered no loss.
Not sure a scc action against ebay would work either, for the same reason - you have suffered no loss.
Try the ebay board.
I was pretty miffed when I started it. (Damn you internet!) But I really feel that I trusted ebay to treat both parties fairly and abide by the rules. I did everything right and the buyer did everything wrong and ebay rewarded her. I feel that how can any seller be sure they won't be screwed over.
I'm not a ebay business seller, I was just getting rid of stuff. You say I suffered no loss but I wasted time when I was extremely busy trying to move house, and lost money.
Thanks for your replies. As a stubborn idiot I'm likely to go through with this despite your best advice.0 -
...and lost money.
You still have the goods, don't you? Thanks for your replies. As a stubborn idiot I'm likely to go through with this despite your best advice.
If you want to pursue a claim for anything else, you need the 'big claims court' and big money.
Head over to the ebay board and read some of the 'stickies' to help you protect yourself.0 -
What money did you lose?
You still have the goods, don't you?
I know you are right, I'll cut my losses.
Will I need to ask for a continuance if I am able to contact the courts 1st thing Monday morning before they have had a chance to process my claim from the weekend?
Thanks again.0 -

Sorry, I simply don't know enough about court procedures to advise on that, so will have to leave that to others.0 -

I was only addressing your particular situation and confirming that you have incurred no actual loss.I'm likely to go through with this despite your best advice.0 -

Agreed. Which I why I decided to take wealdroam's sage advice and halt the claim.0 -
The building insurance company has taken full responsibilty for the county court judgement on my name due to dispute with a neighbour. I sent to all credit companies i.e.; Experian, Equifax etc. a copy of the letter but have not heard anything yet. What should be the next step?0
