I second the recommendations for MAC
There is such a wide variety of shades & finishes. From the finish you've described I'd either look at their lustre, creamsheen or amplified cream finishes or alternatively the sheen supreme or mineralize lipsticks may be suitable but I think they're slightly more expensive than the regular ones. Try to avoid falling in love with a limited edition shade too otherwise you'll get it & never find it again!

I like max factor because it's not drying and lasts until I eat. en/Max-Factor-Colour-Elixir-Lipstick_1222517 What about English Rose?
I'm not allowed to post links as a new user so just put wwwdotbootsdotcom/ in front of the link and you'll see it.0 -
What about Gloss with a little bit a colour? I love wearing that as it's subtle. You can try Sephora's glosses. I love them!0

The stick looks really pinky/ purply in some lights but when its on it actually looks nude as its a perfect colour for my lips which are quite rosy even though my skin is pale.
I like the look of that, just ordered one from Amazon, thanks.
EDIT: No I didn't, they won't deliver to the UK. None listed on ebay. Do you know of anyone else that sells these?0 -
Can I second the mirror shine lipsticks - the Beehive and Nudist Peach are neutral lovely shades. They don't last that well but are really nice and not a bad price either x0

Ive heard nothing but good stuff about soap and glorys lipstick, the perfect day may be the sort of colour youre looking for. I keep meaning to buy a couple but am just not sure when i'd really wear lipstick atm lol0

E.L.F. do a great range of different lipsticks, cheap but the quality is really good. A lot of their colours are an exact match for MAC products.0
