Dont hate me but i decided to pay it Im a firm believer that time is more important than money and more importantly it was just really really bugging me. Although the sound of suprise when i said i wanted to pay kinda made me regret it
But its out the way now i guess.
Doing some reading i made the mistake of appealing straight away and then on their online form ticking the box confirming i was the driver and registered owner. I think this would have made the appeal process that bit more difficult.
In future i will not make any contact if i ever get a ticket.
I recorded the call on my using an app and asked them to confirm that this would resolve the matter and i would not be contacted again.

You are the ONLY person I can remember who has actually then PAID after posting on MSE about a fake PCN, for YEARS!
No-one pays these fake PCNs.
Do you send money to Nigerian phishing emailers by Western Union as well?
Easily scammed. Yet on MSE? Strange.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi,
I got a ticket from CMS today stating to pay £100 in 28 days or £60 in 14 days. Is it still the case to ignore these things? I'm a bit worried about this? has anyone been taken to court by these guys.
I had a permit - i just left it in my glove box. i have appealed stating my CMS reference number for the permit...but tbh im not holding much hope for an appeal from these guys
What is the current approach people are taking to this?
