  • Good morning everyone :)

Quite bright here at the moment so am trying a small wash of DGD's clothes so she can go home with everything clean tonight. Rain forecast for later so the washing line is being watched carefully.

More set school work, art and cooking planned for today. I did manage to get a couple of books sold on Amazon yesterday so at least I am still making a bit of money to pay off debts, even if nothing OS is getting done at the moment.

Molly - I am so sorry about your eldest son, hopefully you can get his stuff out today so he can make a clean break. I often think about you and your youngest son because of the problems we have with DD and DGD. Love and hugs to you and your family.

Well wishes to all sick people and pets and hugs for anyone who needs or wants them. Keep well and safe and have a super day :)

    Morning all,

Molly sorry to here about your son, how awful, big hugs

Tenyearsago I enjoyed Broadchurch, I too had guessed the killer though, I thought his wife was fabulous in it but the husband not a great actor.

JackieO I love sweet potato it's my favourite. It makes lovely chips par boil and the roasted with some sour cream, scrumy.
Can you tell I'm back on my healthy eating:j

Feeling much thinner this morning just because I've decided to get on and lost the rest of the weight I need to lose. I do something called filling and healthy which really helped me lose the two stone last year. Hopefully my op will be done soon and I can start walking and running which really helps.

Off to work with hubby this morning and then we shall carry on to the bank and charity shops, got three tops last week that I have sold and made fab money on eBay this week:D

Shall take my crochet and do some squares whilst I am waiting.

Tea tonight will be salad, and chicken. Have a good day all x

    Morning all,

Bright beautiful day here, and a day off for me :j, wm has nearly finished the first load another one to go in after, will get it all hung out today.

little dog off to the vets for the day again for the glucose curve, I really hope its the last one, she hates it and its costing us nearly £100 per time (weekly) atm, and we are finding it hard.

Brisket for dinner, which I shall cook in my new pyrex SC from tesco, its the one they have on offer with the tokens, and bright red, I love it, I shall do roasties yorkshires and veg with it.

Need to do an online shope today, clean from top to bottom, and prep dinner.

Molly your poor son, bless him I hope he stays away from her, I think he will still be liable for the rent, (ask on the housing board for advice) but if so its only money and worth him paying just to keep away from the little madam.

Ok have good days all xx

  • Molly. I can't really say anything differently to anyone else, but jst wanted to add my voice to the crowd of supporters for you and your son. My OHs ex threatened suicide if he left her - he spent 12 miserable years at her beck and call befre he finally left. It's blackmail - pure & simple - & your son deserves much better.

Going to do some pottering around the house today - doing odd cleaning jobs, maybe hoover out the car. Tea tonight will be duck spring rolls with egg-fried rice. Tonight we are going to a theatre in the round of Hard Times by Charles Dickens - I've been looking forward to it for months. :D

Have a great day all! :)

Molly what an awful situation for your son.

Well, it's a very sunny morning - I'm going for a short walk and will then do a little work in the garden, before I go to the hairdressers for my hair cut.

This afternoon I'm going to relax as I'm not working at all this week, I'm having some me time

Morning everyone :) Happy St George's day :D

Lovely and sunny here, washing on the line already. Fun stuff for me today is housework. Better get a move on and do it, the sooner it's done the sooner I can sit on my butt ;)

Not sure what's for dinner yet, not thought that far ahead.

Have a great day all, hugs and spoons all round xxx

Molly hugs for you and your son xxx I hope he has reported this assault to the police, domestic violence should not be tolerated no matter what the gender. Suspect the threats of suicide are emotional blackmail and he's better off staying away. Hope he manages to do so xxx

    Morning all.

Molly that is outrageous. If the situations were reversed the woman would have been off to the police to report an assault. I so feel for you, it's terrible to see your children suffering and unhappy. Hopefully this will be an end of it and you can all move forward.

A really beautiful day here today. Clearing out the garden shed is on the agenda, and maybe the annihilation of a few dandelions. So lovely to be able to potter about in the garden after the awful weather we've been having.

Fast Day so no cooking, although the biscuit tin is empty and will remain so today, so hard luck visitors. I know better than to tempt myself with freshly cooked biscuits.

    Happy Birthday Shakespeare!:D

    Hi all,

Just been over my hairdresser and had a colour and blow dry, feel better now.:T

Molly41 My OH was a beaten husband. He still has the scars on his back. He put up with it all for eight years because he didn't wwnt to leave his daughter, but in the end he had to or she would have killed him. Please look after your son. Has he reported it to the police? He should, it's GBH after all. Love to you both.:A

I am out to lunch with one of my MS friends today. Sun is shining too.:T Just planted the parsley and basil that were on the windowsill in their garden pots. Greenhouse is doing well too.

    Have a good day all.

...Did anyone watch Broadchurch? I was disappointed with the killer. I had that person down for it weeks ago, but thought it was too obvious. I did like that they showed the aftermath of the revelation though. Deliberately left this vague in case anyone hasn't seen it yet....

I haven't watched it yet, but I just read that there will be a series 2 next year :)
