Its the charge levied on the ISP by BT Openreach for diconnecting your service. Its usually picked up by your new ISP. However since you are cancelling you are liable to the charge. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

nope it wontDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

No, because they'll still have to pay OR.No free lunch, and no free laptop

No there isn't.
Just pay the charge, it'll be in your T&Cs. People are always trying to avoid their obligations to a service provider these days, fun.
My job is to make sure this doesn't happen

Why? There's nothing wrong with avoidance. Big companies avoid all sorts of things. Why shouldn't the consumer, the 'little guy', do so too?
'Cutting your costs. Fighting your corner!' Sound familiar?0 -
What sounds familiar to me is people wasting supplier's CS staff time moaning about charges which they agreed to pay and then !!!!!ing here about not getting away with the charge. It's a very regular occurrence.0
