I wouldn't worry about flight747, from other posts it looks like he is a troll.
What has happened at the appeals - have you received any points? Have you received any assistance with your claims, and do you have supporting medical evidence?
Have you tried Cognitive Behavioural Therapy? If it didn't work the first time, it might be worth trying again - often it is a case of finding the right therapist for you.
No points at all for any of the appeals or WCA's with no assistance but only had GP evidence . I am still waiting to hear from my current WCA its got me panicking0 -
at least 15 points0

You would be best to get some advice about your claim from CAB, Welfare Rights, DIAL etc - someone that can get a full picture of your condition and how it affects you. It could be that you do not qualify for ESA, or it could be that your forms are not being completed correctly.
If you do fail this assessment, before appealing make an appt to speak to one of the above. Then you will know if it is worth appealing, and if it is, they can help you with the paperwork.0 -

Hence my confusion.
Claimants often interpret the descriptors differently to the DWP - it may be that they do not realise the high level required to meet them, or that they do not present sufficient information/ evidence for the DM to award the points.0 -

Depressed shouldn't get esa anyway. We all had depressed. U should have claimed JSA, not ESA.
I get p***ed *** quite regularly, not just depressed, when I hear of cases that are so crying out for an ESA award - serious heart conditions, extremely difficult mental health issues etc0 -
No expert on benefits but from what I read on B&W at very best you will get into wrag group, the support group now is extremely difficult to be placed into even on appeal.
The support group is not extremely difficult, you meet the criteria you get it. I was awarded the support group based just on the questionnaire. I get the impression from on this site people simply do not spend time and go into detail. The more detail the better!Depressed shouldn't get esa anyway. We all had depressed. U should have claimed JSA, not ESA.
:rotfl: You obviously have no idea how depression can impact on the person's life! Their is a difference between being low for a few days to being depressed as diagnosed by a medical profession ie Doc in either the capacity of GP or Psychiatrist0
