I smashed my front teeth in at school 35 years ago. I'd been ill off school, and missed the first of the two flu (?) jabs. One of the teachers found me and told me in no uncertain terms that I had to run across to the other building as fast as I could, to be first in to see the nurse before the injecting started and, he said, if I didn't get there in time there'd be hell to pay... I ran... another teacher opened an outwards-opening firedoor... door and teeth met. Front teeth stayed (mainly) in door. Bleeding Dafty taken to hospital (booo) and missed all flu jabs (Cheeeerrrss).
It hurt then. I remember it well. It is uncomfortable now in cold weather.
So, I have an ugly gob to match my ugly face... The idea of compensation has never once crossed my mind.... until now...... {evil smiley}............0 -
My then 10 year old DD lost her front adult tooth on the rapids at C£nt£r parks but it has never occured to me to make a claim on it. She is undergoing a lot of painful orthodontics and will need an implant which will cost us - but it was just an accident and we'll deal with it.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Of course, it's like when someone tells you not to touch something you immediately want to touch it:pThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
