broadband contract for 4 months?

my brother is coming to stay with mum for 4 months from hong kong. Mum is with BT for her phone calls. He has asked me to check out if he can get broadband for 4 or 6 months only. If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated, many thanks:o

Couldn't see anything on the Be website offering free install. All their packages quoted £24 connection fee. Their is no minimum contract, but they do require 3 months notice.

How long is the Be contract?
For our Be unlimited and Be pro products, there is no contractual period, we simply ask for 3 months notice in writing to cancel your contract without incurring any additional cancellation charges.

For monthly contracts, you're probably going to have to pay a connection fee, as otherwise the ISP could in effect lose out if you cancel after 1 month when they've paid the installation fee.

You wont get any free install, only free migration.

Even if they say its free you end up paying for it in the long run. exit fee ect.
