Nationwide make the depositor of cash sign a deposit slip. It has the account number, cash details and the depositors signature.
I'm quite sure that getting a copy of that wouldn't be against the DPA as all that information is already known. The OP would need the location, value and approximate time/date of the deposit to make a complaint about the lost credit.Which would leave the OP in an equally difficult situation as the have no proof where the money went.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
