Eviction / Balliff - Urgent advice needed

I am finding the whole process is skating on thin ice: one minute we have hot tears, the next it's faintly hostile when questioned. Yet, we were specifically asked to help.
Stage 2: Act on the quick assessment
On your description, there is a fair amount of denial to self and to you. So I am thinking that there is no option but to find the future accommodation. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -
I'm no expert but it sounds like there are two avenues here. If there are mental health issues which could be cited as the reason they did not attend the court hearing it may be possible to get the judgement set aside. With the PPI claim against the lender it might be possible to get the judgement suspended until resolved. Specialist advice is needed here. It might be worth hanging on to the money for the half of the arrears until such advice is forthcoming - it may come in useful if your neighbour needs to find alternative accomodation.0
