  • Good afternoon :D

I am in this week - thanks Dusty for the lists :T

I have been running errands this morning - picked up pescription from the docs on the way to town, been to PO to post ebay parcels, boots for prescription, wilcos for compost (snap Bossy! :) It's a good price in there), DH paid his nominal £1 for his loan at the bank :o, popped into ELC so Miss T could have a little play, then got some bits from Mr S & home. Miss T is eating lunch & then is off to nursery. While she is there the plan is to prep the kiddies' dinner, & get some jobs crossed off the lists.

Thank you Short Bird. The machine was serviced last year and it seems to be working just fine. I've never been able to make it reverse, and reading and re-reading the instructions didn't help. I have just used You Tube to see if there was anything else I could try. It turns out you have to hold the Reverse button in while you're using it! No-one's ever told me that! IT WORKS - 'scuse the shouting - I've had the machine 40 years!
    Better is good enough.

    Afternoon

Back from Mr M and Mr L, food put away.

Bossy - it maybe worth getting some 'topsoil' delivered. Better consistency too for what you are doing, mix it all together.

mumto5 hugs my friend, could the pollen be making things worse? AntiHs worth a go?

Just going to have a cuppa then hoovering and mopping first up this afternoon for me.

Grr. Just decluttered £320 - went to dentist as I have had pain for a couple of weeks. Root canal. Ouch, and I still have 2 more appointments to go. Currently looking very lopsided as the local anaesthetic wears off. Not sure how much flying is actually going to happen.

    Hi all

I shall do my best this week, but am once again going to try to learn to pace myself, not do my bull-at-a-gate approach on my better days then land up flat on my back for a week!:o

*Puts on best Barbara Woodhouse voice*
    BDs..... WALKIES!!:D

Bedlinen has been done (normally washed overnight Saturday but of course we were away); Mr LW hung it out this morning, it's all now dry and in the airing cupboard - I used the bed as a makeshift folding table.:D

I've washed the two hand-wash-only tops that were in the laundry bin, plus the one I wore to travel, they're all dripping merrily onto the grass (I can't wring out at all now).

I shall put anti-bacterial cleaner round all the kitchen surfaces I can get to in a bit, including the fridge shelves.:o

I must also remove the Mary nose-art from the lower pane in the back door.:D

I also have a tadpole appeared - my jewellery roll needs a spot of repair, the bit you put rings on is coming adrift and also needs the elastic loop replacing; I shan't need it til we next go away, whenever that is, but best if it's repaired before we stash it away, or it'll still be needing repair when I next need to use it.:o I think I'll do that next, while I have a coffee, and hopefully then I can do a bit in the kitchen.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Annoying isn't it? Mine's the same! I like to use two hands to hold my fabric nice and steady, can't do that on reverse as I have to hold the blinkin' lever in place!

Quite. Hope life is good for you. I'm slowly getting to grips with the 2 home thing. Settling in in Quinton(ish) Oz quite happy as long as both DH and I are in the same place.
