Full refund for flight cancelled by Airline company??

Hi, I booked return flights to Larnaca with Aegean Airways in November, I asked them to amend the booking to fly the following day, they charged me an extra £130 for this. Today I went to print my booking info and found they have changed the flight to a 2 stop journey taking an extra 10 hours!! I rang the company and they have agreed to pay me the cost of the ticket but not the extra £130 I paid as that was an "admin charge". Are they legally able to keep this back? As I am now having nothing from the company at all, and they have messed up my travel plans at short notice, I do not feel happy that they should be allowed to keep this money. What do you think?

Hi Sharon,
We've had the same problem. My sister os due to come on the 30th which is fine but her return back to Cyprus has been cancelled. We booked with Opodo and they said to ring back tomorrow (monday) and they might be able to get us on another flight to return.
Who did you book with and when are you due to go. Apparently Aegean are having issues with Gatwick and so have changed everything without bothering to tell anyone. Their last flight back to UK is on the 9th May.
Let me know how you get on and i'll let you know if we hear anything.0 -
