You don't say if you've spoken to Thomas Cook yet? But it's worth calling them and having a chat with them about the situation and seeing what the options are with regards to moving. Have a look at some hotels you'd be prepared to move to and see what they say...

The Commodore Elite is in Antalya, you said you are staying in Marmaris.
By the looks of their facebook page some emails went out to the wrong people today and i am guessing this is what you have.
Are you actually staying at the Commodore Elite?

@ mick - You've hit the nail on the head! Commodore seems to be based in Side and our hotel is Blue Bay Platinum in Marmaris, so surely these two are not near each other, are they?

@ headpin - Thank you very much for backing what i've been banging on about all this time. I was saying that TC have a duty of care and should have fore-warned me that there is building work - EVEN if it was scheduled to finish in april.

I'm hoping someone could clarify what mick has just informed us...thanks!

Er, in short yes! What are you supposed to say....'there may or may not be work going on at the time of your arrival as it's due to finish 2 weeks before you get there but it might get delayed but then it might also finish early' ????
