    Shaw Talent Ltd

Company was registered in January and its registered address appears to be a mail forwarding service.

If they can't even be bothered to get a simple 1 page website knocked up to give basic details then I even if they are legit, I would question how professional and competent they were going to be in other areas.

You do know anyone can sent up a recruitment agency from their bedroom? Just post an ad offering a job, get loads of CVs, spam employers with the CVs till you get a hit, take commission, done.

No need for a website, as people don't tend to follow up on every jobs they apply for on indeed/reed. After a few months and your company name is trashed, rinse and repeat with a new one.

Just because a company does not have a website up, doesn't mean they are dodgy. Quite clear here from what I have seen that they have the domain registered for the email element only using that domain name.

As for the fact it says IT in the whois, it could be that someone from their IT dept registered it, doesn't necessarily define what field they are in.

Looking further more into it all looks fine to me.

Quite clear that the owner used a company to rgeiter her domain:

    http://www.whitechapelit.com/

The whois for this rings true as well as what teh website says. The jobs listed by her are within the remit she states on her linked in and she has history in recruitment. ALl looks well above board for me, inclusive of her linkedin profiel and connections

Perhaps not dodgy, but very unprofessional. It would take someone with basic HTML knowledge 10 minutes to set up a holding page with some details of the business and how to contact them.

As it is, their web presence (whether they want it or not) consists of a host's parking page with various unrelated ads on it. Not only does it give a bad impression, but it also indicates that they are unlikely to have any major clients as which large companies would deal with such a poor operation.

The company the domain is registered to is an IT company, who based on their website appear to have no involvement in webdesign, hosting or registration. As the site belongs to a Ltd company, I would expect the domain to be registered in the name of that company - anything else would make me wonder whether the domain had been registered by someone else for some sort of scam.
