I genuinely thought this was going to be about how the butter will spread again now that the weather has warmed up :o

Trouble is, it just dosent taste like "Real" Butter (yes I have tried it)

It is real butter, 100% kerrygold. Are you getting it mixed up with the other cheaper kerrygold in the squarer tub?

I like butter hard, I don't like it when it's been at room temp, so this suits me perfectly.

Hard butter won't spread easily though.

I like kerrygold and but only buy it when it is on offer otherwise we have the cheaper Tesco butter that is 98 pence, there is a definite difference in then as I use them. I keep butter out of the fridge in a butter dish
  • I know that M&S do a spreadable butter and it's because they feed the cows rapeseed...not even churning.

I bought some a while back (a huge tub) when it was on sale for about £1.....

I just think I'll get butter and keep it in a butter dish on the side!

I like Anchor spreadable but only buy on offer and know its not 100% butter, but I thought all spreadables were the same?

We keep ours in a butter dish on the side, it still doesn't spread very well in winter because it's too flipping cold.

Same here. With no heating even the spreadable is rock hard. :rotfl:

    Kerrygold do a Softer butter

I've only seen it in Sainsburys and although softer I would not say it was spreadable straight from the fridge.

That's the one I'm talking about.
