How far in advance can I cancel a Virgin Media subscription?

I am on a fibre optic internet package only with Virgin Media. I was originally on a 12 month contract as I am a student, but when we decided to live here for another year we decided to let it continue.

I move at the end of June so I now need to cancel it. How far in advance can I settle the account and tell them I no longer want to be a customer? I have read somewhere that I need to return the Superhub as well.

Also, am I correct in thinking that because I am out of contract, I will not be charged a termination fee?

You are on 30 days notice. You are not out of contract-you are merely out of minimum term.
Yes, the equipment is leased and must be returned.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
