Talk Talk blocking internet access

I am a Talk Talk customer and twice this year I have lost my internet access. On both occasions I have found that the problem is caused by Talk Talk's servers refusing to respond to my PC. It would appear that this is caused by Talk Talk's new HomeSafe software which is supposed to check the websites that you visit and warn of possible viruses. HomeSafe appears to scan customers' PCs and if their anti-virus software has any reports of viruses, even if they have been cleared, the PC is put on a blacklist and then blocked after 7 days. On both occasions I have uninstalled and re-installed my antivirus software to clear all outstanding virus reports, and my internet access has been restored immediately. I know of at least one other Talk Talk customer who has experienced the same problem.
