Sky HD upstairs TV problem

My wife knocked off the upstairs (magic eye connected) TV UHF connection whilst dusting
I have remade the connection - but on trying the upstairs TV - I cannot change channels from BBC1 - or turn the skybox off (I turned it on !!)
I assume that I have connected the cable to the correct connection on the rear of the sky box ?
ie) The innermost RF out 2 ?

Magic Eye does need to be connected to RF2. Is the red light on on the magic eye to show it's getting power?
For magic eye to work the power part of RF2 needs to be turned on (it's not on by default). I presume it is already on as you had this working before but worth double checking it hasn't been reset. Press the Services button on your Sky Remote (downstairs obviously as it's not working upstairs!) and then type 4 0 1 and press Select. Check "RF Outlet Power Supply" is set to yes.
I'm assuming you knocked the cable out downstairs as that's why you re asking which socket to put it in? If you knocked it out upstairs then it could be you damaged it when you knocked it. You could plug it directly into the RF2 outlet downstairs and try changing channels through that to confirm. Block the front of the Sky HD box to make sure it's not picking up the signals.0 -

Thanks - it was a single strand of brading that was bridging the gap between the central core and the outer sheath
Sorted now !!0
