PPS Parking Fine

I received a parking fine from PPS for parking over two bays, it was dark and frosty when I parked between two cars hence didn't see the white lines! The majority of the car park is also not Tarmac just mud and stones and no marked bays.

After reading a few threads on this forum I ignored the fine and didn't hear anything for 10weeks then got a letter from them saying the fine was now £130, no mention of why it had gone up from £100!
I also ignored this letter and have now received a letter from a debt collected service CCS today demanding the payment by next Tuesday or they will either visit my house to discuss collection of the debt or advise PPS to take legal action.

I do feel a bit concerned now and wonder if I should just pay up??
Any advice greatly received.
Thanks.

PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue.

Of course they will not be visiting your house, it's just another scare tactic just ignore the scammers some more.

Start by reading the sticky thread near the top, 'PPC Letter Chains' but look at the OLD pictures on the pre-Oct link there, because that's where the photo links to the letters are plentiful:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163

CCS collect's letter chain is shown under at least one PPC in that sticky thread. That's it, just junk mail, then end of scam after a few months when it all fizzles out. So just play snap with the letters that match the pics of the CCS Collect letters shown in the pre-Oct gallery.

You'll miss 'em when they're gone, when they move on to another victim!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
