Evening, I hope someone knows the answer, would a phone company be able to send the 'low balance' text to a different phone?
A friend is in hospital and I'm topping up their phone, but they run out of credit and can't let me know until I ring them!
Many thanks
The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.

Technically they could, but logically (and this you must try and understand) why should they? They have millions of customers , so it would cost them more to micro manage many of them, especially when the customer can do it themselves. (this cost would have to be passed onto the customer)
Many handsets have counters, and your friend must have an idea of how many texts per day/month they are sending, so eg £10 will last a week or month etc, besides that, you don't have to only top up with a minimal amount.
