Quick banking question

I've got savings in the Cheltenham and Gloucester Building society which is part of Lloyds. However, ideally I'd like to transfer money into a Halifax ISA. Will both sets of savings be protected upto £85,000 or will I only get one set protected.

Lloyds and Halifax have separate protection at the moment. So potentially 2 X £85000 if you have that much.0
