I bought an end of terrace that was described as both end of terrace and semi-detached.

For all legal purposes (eg insurance) I describe it as end of terrace.

Perhaps I should borrow from music and say it's a hemidemisemi-detached?

One of our neighbours in the village lives in the end cottage of a terrace of five - Right Move sold stats lists it as semi-detached :o

    It is "end terrace."
@Phoebe That is still an end terrace, it's just that the agent misdescribed it when they advertised it.

Yeah, I know thanks, pretty obvious to anyone that sees it in the flesh - but very misleading reading the info on RM as there's no historic pics/details from when it was sold three years ago ;)

One day, I would like to live in a house that isn't attached to another house.

Oh, so would I... Love it... And lots of land as well - we have a respectable 40'x150' at the moment but I want to do a lot more self sufficiency that we currently manage...

When I lived in Manchester I was amused to find that end of terrace houses were called "quasi semis".
