PC Tools Spyware Doctor

I've had an email today saying the current PC Tools Security range, including Spyware Doctor, is being retired on May 18 2013 ie. no new subscriptions or renewals after that, but existing subscriptions to be supported until their expiry date.
They "hope" we will want to transfer over to Norton, also part of the Symantec family of products.
It's just one d@mn thing after another these days!

And no wonder, considering the stuff it lets through. I've been delighted by Malwarebytes, which trapped and removed the notorious Met Police ransom attack. (MS Security Essentials didn't)0
