Getting a 3 PAC code - Are they b***sh***ing me ??
Yes they are very bad for this, and I won't be going back. As Matttye says be firm. Do not listen to their offers. Say "I want my pac code and you are legally obliged to give it to me" to anything they say.
Wow, that was extraordinary. I had to listen to so much information on the amazing deal I was being offered by 3 for so long that I drifted off, started reading this thread, and every time the operator went quiet I just said 'but it won't make any difference to the signal in my area.' In the end I heard her say OK I'll give you the PAC code and then gushed on about what a wonderful customer I was presumably because I didn't swear at her, which I imagine is the normal procedure.
I used to have a 3 mobile BB dongle and when I called to cancel it I had got offered pretty much everything you could possibly think of
My eyes lit up when I read this because I've been refused a transfer of my 50% retention discount to another tariff. Just noticed that the post was made on 19 April 2013, and since then, I've read that there's been a marked change in 3's attitude, i.e. they no longer 'roll over' when a customer contemplates leaving. Is this still the case?
I'm on a sim only deal with three and think they're great. By far the best data signal here in East Lothian. All the others just offer GPRS or occasionally E. I just went on chat and asked for my PAC. I wanted a deal. I wanted them to offer me something. Nope. Just gave me my PAC and said bye.
