AAdvantage MBNA Card Approved

Options
Just need a quick answer. I applied for a MBNA AAdvantage Reward Card 2 days ago and was accepted and told that my credit limit would be £1200. But I haven't had any emails or nothing from them.

What could this mean?

What are you expecting to hear from them?

I assume your card will turn up in 7 to 10 days.

You already know you're accepted. As stated above, ring them.

I applied for the same and was accepted last Saturday. An email arrived yesterday (so 5 days later). All it said was what I already knew - the credit limit and that the card and PIN would be with me soon.

Have a little patience OP ;-)

    So ring them then.

Why put 'I need a quick answer' when you could get the correct answer straight away from them, rather than speculation on here.
  • MBNA don't seem to send out confirmation emails. I applied last Sunday and was referred (I applied outside of the CRA opening hours so it was always going to happen). I got nothing back at all, no acknowledgement of my application or anything. Then on Wednesday night I got an email saying that I had been accepted and my limit etc.

If you've applied and been accepted then just wait for the card to come through.
  • Thanks to all your responses, I did ring them up and everything is going through and should have the card within a few days.

I find it odd though, I've applied for like basic credit cards before and I got declined for loads due to the fact my Credit File is a bit adverse due to late payments on my part, but with this card I got accepted and got a big credit limit.

You haven't had nothing from them? So they sent you something?
