Hi always used 'Adobe Reader', mainly for viewing, saving & printing PDF Files, but recently I've got tired of all the updates & possible vulnerabilities. Was thinking of trying 'Foxit Reader' as an alternative & was wondering what people thought of it?
Or would you recommend another alternative?
Appreciate any help
Thx

Foxit used to bundle unwanted toolbars.
I now use PDF-XChange Viewer, it has more features and never had a problem with it.
Make sure you have the Free viewer

Another +1 for Sumatra PDF viewer, but get rid of the awful default yellow background by invoking it with something like
"C:\Program Files (x86)\SumatraPDF\SumatraPDF.exe" -bg-color 0xF0F8FF
which gives an inoffensive pale blue.0 -
To answer your original question. I switched to Foxit about a year ago and find it fine. No problems at all with it and seems quicker than Acrobat Reader. I have unticked any request to install a toolbar at the same time.0
