We had a large quote from the mobility shop for batteries. We went to a local battery specialist (cars, motorbikes etc) who tested and found one of the pair below par and the charger not supplying enough current. He replaced both batteries (inside their slot-in enclosures) and supplied a new fully electronically protected charger for a much more reasonable price. They've worked fine since... it pays to shop around.0

- agreed
- stay well clear of manufacturers and the 'disabled' specialists
- not all disabled / mobility specialists, but most will charge very considerably more than the small battery specialists
NOTE : Do not to allow them to take your vehicle elsewhere until you have agreed a fixed price.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I'm not disagreeing with this - but consider if having somewhere where you can try out various different machines is worth the premium paid.
If everyone buys online, at some point, the shops go away.0
