    FYI, it's up to you to prove it was missold, not Barclays to provide proof, because you are the one saying it was wrong.

    If you applied online, it means no bank staff advised you and that you mis-bought rather than were mis-sold. I imagine (you still haven't said) that this was the reason the bank gave for rejecting your complaint and is also the reason your claims company accepted the decision without pushing for you to go to FOS.
    On a positive note, at least you didn't have to pay the CMC any money.
