No that's not the problem, the problem is Talk Talk are refusing to release us from our imaginary contract, that couldn't have been agreed to as no one was in the house at the time Talk Talk say it was agreed. Which we have asked them to prove. Today our Internet not worked for most of the day. Typing this via my phone hotspot!0

Internet been down since lunch time - eventually got hold of someone at Talk Talk and they have disconnected us? Bazaar as only last week they were refusing too transfer us to Sky! Been nice if they had done it before sky had to cancel our order as talk talk refused to transfer it. Absolutely terrible service from a very poor company!!0

Did you change your product or tariff at that time? This will often start you on a new 12m contract.
TT cant 'refuse to release you'; you can leave at an time you like, subject to any ETC or notice payable.
But as I said, you will almost certainly not be able to go LLU to LLU direct-ask Sky to check your existing number if you don't believe this. If they say they can do it, then they are probably giving you a new line instead. No free lunch, and no free laptop

The probably we have with Talk Talk is that on trying to move to sky I was told by Talk Talk that we had renewed our contract last September. That my husband had rung to renew, which he hadn't. When my husband rang and asked exactly when, he was told the 4th September. When he pressed for an exact time he we told it was Monday 3rd September 9.48am. When my husband explained that he was at work and in a meeting at that time and could they prove it . He was told he would have to pay £10. He asked if he would good it back when it showed he hadn't been in he was told no.
The he asked for the transcript and how much it would be to end the contract he was told yes and £49.
That was last Monday last week, no letter and sky still not able to take over the line.
Is this ethical or legal?
The EXACT same happened with me!! Except they tried telling me that I had said yes to a new contract!! When they 'went away to listen to the call' they hung up on me. I moved to BT and had no issues - apart from the fact TT cut me off as soon as they'd been notified of the change - I only had to wait a week or so for BT though!
They're absolute con merchants!!!Weight Loss3lb Lost32lb To Go:xmassmile 8 Week Christmas Cracker SW Challenge :xmassmile3lb/12lb0
