pay as you go tarriffs

Hi, I was hoping to compare pay as you go tarriffs but cannot find anywhere? Is there any cheaper than this? http://phone-shop.tesco.com/tesco-mobile/help-and-support/call-charges-payg-litetariff.aspx

I don't want to be locked in to contract and I don't want top ups

thanks (and sorry if there is somewhere that I was too blid to notice)

I think at 8ppm for calls to landlines, 03 numbers and mobiles that this good. It is certainly better than the "per minute" rates of the other large operators. They often have a minimum charge of 1 minute and may charge per whole minute thereafter.

I put together a list of operators on SayNoTo0870 here, although I admit that this isn't conclusive as there are far more virtual operators out there than I imagined!

I can't commend any of the operators, so you may find a lower rate from a lesser-known (perhaps newer) operator.

If you're a low user, ensure that you a call often enough to keep the thing alive and so that you don't forfeit your credit.

Ovivo is free as long as you don't use more than 150 minutes 200 texts and 400mb per month (free monthly allowance)

Usage in excess of that is charged at: 8p per minute and 5p per text and 16p per mb.

    www.whitemobile.com piggy backs on EE.

Calls to UK Landlines. 3p a minute.

Calls to UK Mobiles. 6p a minute.

    UK Texts. 5p.

    Voicemail. Free.

Free same network calls and texts subject to T&C.

    Cheap Intl Calls.

It appears you need to make a chargeable call or top up every 60 days.

3.4. We will disconnect your SIM if during the previous 60 days you have not Registered a new Top Up or you have not made chargeable calls from your SIM. For the avoidance of doubt calls shall include but not be limited to voice calls, data calls and text messaging. On disconnection your mobile telephone number will be reassigned. On Reconnection you will be assigned a new mobile telephone number.

Thanks, looks like a competitive tariff on EE, I've been looking for a sim for someone who has a locked phone, this looks pretty good.

The phone may require unlocking to go from EE to Whitemobile although both on same physical network.

I would be surprised if it does, I have yet to see an MVNO sim not work in a phone from the host network.
