  • You are right. I am sorry. I was just so very concerned that people would give up. The other piece of fantastic nonsense that concerned me was the whole production of pepipoo posts purportedly made by Ming seeking pepipoo advice. How is that relevant evidence in a contractual dispute. Even if allowed (!!!?), how could a court object to a supposedly ordinary lay person seeking help when faced with a company able to employ a barrister and who have a whole legal department at their disposal? Equality of arms comes to mind. I thi k the point PE are clumsily making is "Don't ask Pepipoo for help". They must be getting really worried.
  • thanks everyone for your comments. I have since posted for help here n on pepippo in preparing my defence after receiving court papers. disappointingly no one has offered to help.

No need to apologise to me, you're entitled to your opinion like anyone else. I just think that without the transcript it's impossible to say anything for certain as even a small claim can be intimidating and it's easy to misremember what was said.

Yep - but I did when I got back from holidays, just so everyone knows you have been helped as far as I could do (albeit I haven't defended a small claim myself, I just read a and bookmark/memorise lot of links and info).

Do bump your own threads (both here and on pepipoo) if you need more comments to any queries along the way. There will be more people on the forums again from next month, it's always a bit like a ghost town in August on pepipoo and here so don't be put off in replying for more help on your own forum threads.
