I'm sure someone will be along shortly to suggest a courier, but it will depend on accurate weight and dimensions as well as the country being shipped to.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Bump
Prices seem to be around £50 to the US (not sure on the compensation yet), does that sound right?0 -
No one can quote you for a 'large box'.
It needs to be specific.

40x30x18 cm
I think. It's going to the USA0 -

Well via Transglobalexpress, UPS will be £32.46. This is for £50 cover, so you will have to go through the t&c to see the upgrade charge, but it should only be a pound or two.
There will be cheaper, but I prefer to use TG. There is a dedicated courier thread on here somewhere, you may wish to add all the info to that.
You will need adequate documentation for customs, but the courier or agent you book with should give you this info on their websites.
This is assuming the address isn't one classed as 'remote'.0 -
Do I need to be concerned with customs in the US, like here in the UK we get charged 20% VAT, and maybe some duty too?0

Are you VAT registered?
Yes, you always need to be concerned with customs, particularly the US, in terms of the correct paperwork.
The buyer needs to worry about any duty due.0
