Retrieving information from a broken phone…

Hi this is my first post so I’ll apologise for asking a question!
My erricson K700 got crunched in a freak accident, t’was in the pocket of my long work jacket and just happened to be laying in the wrong place when I shut the car door!
Anyway, the screen has gone white with a large black splodge on it and a couple of the keys are broken, though it makes the right sounds etc when I turn it on so still appears to be ‘working’ internally. I’ve had it for 2 ½ years anyway so it’s not too important to get working fully again but, I have a lot of stuff on it that I’d like to keep.
So, my question is… is it in any possible way to get it back ?
Any help would be much appreciated

you can do it via a usb cable, bluetooth and infared.
i would do it via a cable, as its quicker (if you have a cable).
however it will be cheaper to do it over bluetooth (as a bluetooth usb dongle will work with most makes of phone)0 -
Thanks for the help!
So (excuse my phone related ignorance !) am I right in thinking it is possible to retrieve stuff from the phone's memory etc. even though the screen is blank ?
If so, where might I get hold of cables you mentioned ?0 -
yes it is possible to retrieve the data.
the cables can be bought from a local shop/ebay/online stores etc0 -
Cheers matey! I've just found a set on ebay called a data transfer suite.0

to get the data back, use myphoneexplorer0
