    Hi Cally and suisidevw,

I've certainly been keeping busy. A number of trips to local nurseries, planting, trimming things are slowly waking up in the garden. Here are some updates:

The tree's by the lawn are flowering and looking much better than 2 weeks ago:

The wisteria I planted only 4 weeks ago against the trellis I put up has gone crazy:

And I have to admit I cheated slightly, my girlfriend paid for a local gardener to help me on the front garden for 2 hours and it really helped tidy up and cut back, as it was quite overgrown:

Working this weekend again on the lawn, its proving difficult to get the patches to grow. I feed it every 2 weeks as per the instructions, we've had lots of rain, so thats not an issue. Might have to get Greensleeves in to look at it.

Also am having a BIG problem with bindweed. Shoots popping up like crazy in the corner of the garden that I dug over and planted 3 trees in.

Pulled up as many of the white roots as possible and then dumped a load of bark chippings down. From what I've read though it can take 2 years to fully eradicate it (if you're lucky).

Phew. More pics to come this weekend.
