Well Judi hope you managed to get to bed at a reasonable hour and your wide awakeness didn't keep you up too late.
Well it depends if you can call midnight late. I must admit its late for me but at least i slept right through. In fact 'Youngest' went to college before i woke up.
Hope you and the wife are coping with the mess being created at home. You just have to think of how nice it will look when its done.
I'm having cavity wall insulation tomorrow. Though the mess if any will be outside. No doubt the dogs will be barking the whole time they are here. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

To be honest i'm with you on this BB. Why spend such a huge amount of money on a Prime Minister that divided the country?
She sold off our assetts and created the original Poll Tax for goodness sake.
On the other hand, she was one heck of a leader. Even the men in her cabinet were afraid of her, until they stuck together and ousted her.
Pomp and ceremony (or however you spell it) is one of the few things we as a country are good at and it was nice to see it in practice even if we as a country didnt need the expense.
Yep, Carol Thatchers shoes were to die for! (well nearly). This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Good idea, your house will retain heat for a good deal longer. Should in theory save you money on your heating too.0 -

No but i'll look forward not having to wearing my big fleecy dressing gown so much in cold temperatures. Warm and comfortable it may be but its not very flattering.
Ive wanted cavity wall insulation for years in the house but hubby said no as it would make the house damp. Apparently they dont use that fibre stuff anymore and use some other material that doesnt absorb moisture so he's agreed.
On my head though if it goes wrong. I'll never hear the last of it.:oThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
