Tesco Clothes Coupon Thread. Read First Post For Updates!

Help please.........

I have full strip of blues plus an extra £10 off £50 blue and £6 off £30 blue. I thought I had ordered some new ones but none have come through so I guess I am just going to have to use the blues on their own.

I'm pretty sure I can use all the coupons for a kids shop, but if I want to get some womens clothes will I have to do a full £30 on womens? Would I need to spend £100 to use both £10 ones?

Well, I managed to use a combination of all my blues, despite the conditions stating not to be used in conjunction with others.

Why don't you just try and if the 2nd £10 doesn't go through, just act surprised and say you gave it to the SA in error and take it back.
Best thing is to buy some groceries and mix the blues in with a few other vouchers, which is what I did.

Thanks parsonswife. I fully intend using them altogether.... I was just wondering if I got mainly kids clothing but wanted to get some womens will it mess it all up? If I do get some womens clothes will I need to spend a full £30 on womens? and then £30 on kids. Or, am I best doing a full kids shop to be on the safe side? Also, as I am using 2 of the same £6 off will my grand total need to be £60? I hope this is clear as it sounds a bit confusing!!

I did a £60 clothing shop last week and the £10 blue wouldn't go through. Through process of elimination and doing a similar shop, it appears that the childrens umbro tops which are new in aren't registering as clothing

hi,just realised I still have a load of the blues left(DOH!) & can't poss use em all so if any manchester tescoites want 2 PM me I'll see what I can do!!!

After having these "blues" for quite a while now, and nothing to go with them to bring the price down, decided after getting some £4 kids(which i never use) to go for it today....

Had two combos worked out with Plax(to cover missing £12 on £60 clothes).

Anyway...picked up 14 Plax and £60 of kids clothes(and £5 extra just in case of a reduction)....got to till with these..sure enough there was an unmarked reduction, so had to use a reserve piece of clothing and took clothing total to £61.25(all kids).....£10 blue scanned first ok, then 2x £6's scanned......but one womens and one mens wouldn't scan.......he scanned all my other coupons including 3x £4 kids, 4 each SB's and HB £2.50's and 14x £1 plax...... I asked him to try and scan £6's again(after realising i didn't have £13.27 in my pocket to pay bill)....they wouldn't scan.....apologised and said i had left my money in the car..........anyway after being unable to find OH who had cash...suddenly realised i had not given him any £1 toiletry or £1.25 quits.....so made my way back to him, where supervisor was about to put transaction on hold(as there was quite a queue by this time)....I apologised to the queue and the supervisor(who luckily walked away).....I then gave him, 5 x £1.25 quits and 7 x £1 toiletry coupons.....thankyou he said....that will be 2p then sir.

40 coupons on one receipt........its a long time since Ive done that.....could have been more if I'd been a points collector.

Took goods to car....came back, did exact same clothing transaction with Plax again.(without the hassle this time though)...and paid another 2p.

Why wouldn't the 2nd £6 mens and £6 womens scan on these clothes...i had definately spent £61.25 on clothes......

Also had a very successful HandB day in some smaller stores.

hi leadhead - see my post above - same happened to me a week or so ago - could only use one of each £6 even tho they tried again. so went back yesterday with the remaining 2 x £6's and a kids £4 - got just over £30 kids clothes and neither of the 2 £6's would work at all - have given up now i am afraid - 2 £6's will go to waste after 2 failed attempts!!

I went to Tesco today to try and use my last three blue clothing vouchers.
Could find nothing in my size I liked and was in hurry so I gave all three away to different people shopping in clothes section. They were all thrilled and someone even offered to pay me half the face value and go fifty/fifty. I declined as I have done quite a few good shops recently using tips from everyone on MSE so was glad for them to go to good home.
