oh dear welshy, how horrible, wish u strike back soon.

i stopped using the DM book token after reading many disasters attempts here. only bought one yesterday as someone said t is actually a member of the book club. successfully used it today, but never again. it seems not working now. and i definitely don't want to get any of my wonderboys into trouble, they worth much more than the book tokens when think about it.
maybe buy more other magazine ones next time?

Take them back without a receipt, the only risk you suffer could be a reduction in price, but T will then exchange for other clothes(and sometimes other goods) usually without question.
They have changed the policy in our store and if you haven't got a receipt then no refund.

I didnt think you got a refund without a reciept anywhere? Leadheads talking about exchanging, did you mean no exchanges without reciepts?? If so that sucks!

Picked up a few of the £6 coupons today. I understand I can use them without buying clothes but can I spend less than £30 and still use one?

Have read that people have used more than one on a shop but think that would be pushing my luck - our stores are not coupon friendly.

It really depends on the SA. The coupons will scan (incl the expired one). But if you get a bit of a jobsworth and they read the coupon, they will either hand it back saying you didn't spend £30, or you didn't buy any clothes, OR they could just glaze over and scan it without looking at it!! Good luck :D Oh, some peeps bump up their shopping a bit by buying a £10 giftcard ;) .

We've got a new store manager and because we are one of the stores with the highest shrinkage (theft etc), then they are finding new ways of reducing this so: no receipt, no refund, exchange or anything. We have to tell everyone and there are lots of notices up as well.

Are you all using your clubcards when using these vouchers? I found on of these £6 vouchers today and used it with my clubcard but slightly concerned after reading some of these posts that maybe shouldn't use my clubcard if I want to use these vouchers (that is if I'm lucky enough to find anymore or can swop with someone).

well what a disaster ........... did my shopping and split it into 2 lots, had several £6 mocs as well as purina ones and my normal healthcare/toiletry combo. Went to one of my usual chaps, all nice and chatty .... everything fine until I handed his over my coupons. Last time, he states I got into trouble because of you (he took a few of the £4 DMs book vouchers) and stated he would not take anything without consulting his superior.

So I am waiting thinking shall I just say can I leave it or not, but turned around to DD dabbing lavendar oil on her wrist, whilst icing a gingerbread man and drinking a smoothie. So I thought oh well better weather the storm.

She comes over looks at my vouchers, scans a £6 blue scan on anything from last week voucher, and then sifts through my others, the wine ones were rejected on the basis that 2 vouchers although different worded mentioned the word "new zealand" one was win a hol to NZ, one was buy any NZ wine ........... she hands back alot and mutters that she will have explain this to the cash office.

I did have a second transaction on the belt but politely asked I said could I leave it as I had overspent. Now just got to explain to OH the large bill

    Welshy x

Oh no Welshy - I hope this wasnt one of your reliable & coupon friendly stores. I had a 6 pound rejected y'day, but today the lass seemed quite happy to scan anything including DM, esquire, HB and err 3 x 6 pound notes. Well might as well use a few, before they get wise!
