Coupons 2.. £10, £7.00 & £5.00 which are picked up instore.. These will not scan on anything.. You have to reach the minimum spend before deductions on the gender of clothing that it states..

I did not realize these are around again. What is the expiry date on them please? They will go nicely with my FashionFile coupons (coupons 1) :D .

I did a large (£90) shop in Tesco at the beginning of the week. The SA refused to take the £4 coupon (as above) as I'd not bought any clothes (they only do a tiny range at this store), she refused the ROC £5 as I hadn't bought any Rok product, but put through the Bovril 60p that I had not bought, with a couple of coupons I had bought the products for 50p for fairy fabric conditioner type of thing.

I've never had any luck in Taunton Tescos with coupons for goods I haven't purchased - such as the clothing coupons. I actually prefer to do my grocery shopping online as I find I spend less, and only really go in when I've got coupons that need using - after tesco cc mailings for example.

Should I try another store - or any other ideas for using the clothing coupons or Roc voucher?

    Cheers

If you mean the clothing coupons from the clothing club; they will only scan against clothes-at least they used to. But you can combine if you do a total spend on clothes which covers the highest amount (I think).

As far as I can tell individual tescos if they are on the ball can program their computers to do closer checks: for example I tried a 250pts on kids clothing against a general shop in my local the other day and it was refused (twice). I have always been able to get them through before. I had to actually buy the clothes in the end, shock horror.

So if you think you will buy enough clothes it would be worth going to a bigger store: If not, maybe you could sell them on ebay?
dont know what the Roc voucher is, sorry.
  • i bought some pink clothing coupons off ebay. they were from clothing at tesco but i don't know if they were 'wardrobe' or whatever.

last night i went shopping and my husband went throiugh the self scanner before i had finished looking at the sale rail, so i ended up having to pay at the self scan. i spent £81 in total but only £25 of that was kids clothes and £8 women's. the rest was groceries.

i had a £10, a £6 and a £4 and they all went through together for a £20 discount! and with 20% off the t-shirts for the summer promotion it meant my £33 clothing spend only cost £6.40 :D (plus the price i'd paid off ebay of course)

If you have a another store nearby with clothing and Roc products then I would go there and try them.

If not, you could swap them, I have some £1 Huggies coupons you may have better success with! :D

But you are not allowed to swap or trade on MSE. You can swap on www.paidtoshop.co.uk which is a shopping forum many of us are also on (it's mainly about Tesco and Boots bargains plus anything else we want to talk about). Are you on paid to shop (PTS) yet? I am Coupon-madder over there...always happy to receive pm's about swapping on PTS...

Yes, you can use them altogether (total spend has to be £60 to be able to use the 2x£30 ones together) and no, you DON'T have to buy clothes. They work on groceries!:j

Obviously, the above is dependent on a willing SA!!!;)
    Good Luck:D
