Tesco Clothes Coupon Thread. Read First Post For Updates!

Been to Tesco today, and there was loads of these clothing coupons at the 'Cloths tills'. Valid from 10/04/08 - 20/04/08.

I did a £52 shop (groceries)
Used some MOC's, including a pink white clothes coupon (through post £10 off £50)

..and I used one of these - the £7 off £35 spend.

This is the only one that didn't scan. So does anyone know if these new coupons only scan when actually buying clothes?

If anyone has a couple of spares of these new clothing coupons I would be most grateful...:A I think they are only being given out in stores with an 'upstairs' if that helps anyone find them.

There are no stores with an upstairs near me...

Looking at the leaflet you WOULD think it was available only instores with an upstairs.....but the first store i hit this morning had them..............and no upstairs.......although the second, third, fourth and fifth, all had upstairs, and unguarded coupons in most of them............well they were guarded......but she had to turn her back sometimes..........one store put 100 on the CS counter(well it was actually 99).....another had them on unmanned(or unwomanned) clothing desks..........like taking candy from a baby.....so the song says.......but ive almost runout of mocs(hint)

you're all so lucky! my store won't allow anybody to use all 3 of these coupons in the same transaction, and they sit there at the till adding up from your receipt before even accepting one clothing coupon. so on a £60 spend today i was allowed the £7 and the £5 which is a 20% discount. luckily i'm not keeping everything

the £5 didn't scan even though i had spent £25 and it also didn't scan for the person at the till opposite mine. both were refunded by CS though.

Funny you should say that.....

My £5 children's didn't scan either.
I put it down to one of the items being an Umbro basball cap. (We had varying problems with some of the Umbro stuff last year)

CS were just handing out fivers, they said none of them were working.

I have just picked up 10 of these in trolleys outside tesco. If anybody wants all or some of them pm me and i'll send them out today.
