Is this my best option?

I have just over 30k in my isa my rate has just finished and gone down to 0.5%, that 30k includes this years allowance which i transferred in last week. My question is, is barclays 2.3% my best option? Id rather instant access although chance is i wont need to access, just rather i would have the option incase i meed the money

Thanks for any responses

    Hi

I'm not up on current rates but that looks OK. Had you not put this years allowance in you could have got slightly more on that in the Cheshire but no transfers in.

Of course you could now transfer the whole or part of your existing (is that Barclays?) to e.g. a Santander 3% 2 year fixed but you would need their 123 current a/c.

I guess it comes down to how much shifting around you need/want to do.

    Cheers

    Alan
