eBay selling dilemma

If you do think they are using you to drop-ship, then dont forget to include a full invoice showing the amount paid. If they get you to send it direct to their buyer who paid a lot more, I dont think they will get good feedback...

    Gary.

    Thanks Gary!
I'm learning so much now. I don't sell much on ebay at all and am just out to make some much needed money. I don't normally include an invoice but I'm going to see if I can print one out. Just hope if it is a drop-ship that the seller checks the invoice. Might sellotape it to the item :)

Thanks Soolin! I'm convinced this is what they are going to do. I didn't realise that they can change the paypal address. I have taken down the sellers address so I will be posting to that if they pay. Time to open a non paying customer case :)

you have to post to the paypal address listed though when they pay or you wont have any protection if you need to make a claim.

That's why I didn't spot my drop shipper ask never even bother looking at an eBay address. I only wrap and address my parcels when I get the PayPal payment, and as my drop shipper had added the new buyers address to his account I never even noticed a different name and address.

OP, they might even be looking to drop ship yours, I had a buyer do that to me this year, buy my goods, sell them on , and then when they pay add the new buyers address to their paypal account for me to send to. I didn't notice what was happening until one of the 'buyers' contacted me with a query and I realised I hadn't sold it to her, but she had got my email from my packing slip.

Interesting, I'm trying to work out what would have happened if there was tracking, and the buyer filed INR with the drop shipper. Would ebay even notice that the drop shipper has reinserted the same tracking number.

You would be surprised how many sellers do not add the tracking details to paypal , even if they use it. So if drop shipper knew it wa sbeing sent tracked he would need to ask for tracking, and then he could use that to defend an INR claim.

Obviously it would not have worked for me as I don't track anything- but my drop shipper was running a different sort of scam entirely.

well the more I read the more I get annoyed and the little minx comes out in me. As really there doesn't seem to be much to do I've followed your advice. I have raised a NPB - if/when they pay I will check the address on paypal and if it's changed from the original one I'm quite happy to put a note in explaining what has happened. I'd really like this drop-ship seller to get a nasty taste in her mouth from dealing with this. I'm an honest ebay, hardly ever sell and I just need the extra cash. If I wanted this hassle I would have put the BIN price as the drop-ship seller!

Keep a watch on their auction, as they're clearly waiting for it to sell, and THEN they'll pay, adding THEIR buyer's address to their Paypal account.

When is the end time on their auction?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

They have it as BIN ending in 19 days. They offer 1st class signed for delivery - I don't so if it is drop shipped then I ain't shipping 1st class.

Still no payment. She's succeeded in taking away the completion (me) so people will buy hers.

Anyone know if I have to sell to her? I really want to email her and tell her know what she's up to ....

    I'm really normally a nice person :)

certainly sounds like they where taking out the competition to me!

They know by tying you up in a NPB process they keep you out of the equation for quite a while.

Or they are waiting to see if they can get the higher price and then they might pay you to get it to sell on.
if i had known then what i know now

In which case it really looks like they're taking out the competition that's cheaper than their item, rather than drop shipping.

They'll probably pay eventually then leave bad feedback and low stars - the only thing you could do is phone ebay and point out they're selling the same item and deliberately sabotaging yours, and they MIGHT remove any bad feedback.

They're daft using the same account to buy and sell. Have they got anything cheap for sale that you could buy, wait ages to pay, then leave lousy feedback should you need to...? (cruel, but as is what they are doing!)
