Santander Master ISA- Online application??

Have just managed to open one of these on the phone. The call took 22 minutes and consisted mainly of automated and manual reading of T&C's. It sounded more like a marriage service by the end. The thing is I really wanted to open one for my wife as well , but just couldn't be bothered by the end of all this.

The very nice girl on the phone, somewhat unconvincingly, suggested that it could be done online, but I just cannot see the link. Has anyone else managed to open this account online?( not an existing upgrade) .I cannot understand why it isn't available as I have opened several online ISA's before.

appears they have removed the online application facility. Either the works of an imbecile or they have taken as many applications as they can. I reckon they wouldn't take online applications if the latter was true.
