More Vodafone woes
It took them 6 months after the Egg Money card was replaced by the Barclaycard World card to get round to accepting the new card. They finally got this working.
Now they have deleted details of my phone from my account (it's PAYG) - and I am not alone. I can top up and use the phone, my rewardz are intact, but all of my details - including cards registered for top-ups - have vanished, and I get a system exception if I try to add the phone back on. They are now denying that there is any record of my phone on their system, and twice have claimed that the number has been "recycled" due to not being used for an extended period. This is utter rubbish. They even called me on the phone to discuss my problem!
Has anybody else had this problem? I don't know when it started. I only found out that they had screwed up my account when I tried to top up on Saturday. Oddly I could top up the phone my making a one off payment on their web site using the phone number they have no record of , and got several SMS messages confirming the top-up.
