NPower bills
Options
My npower bills have always been online and I used to get an email asking for readings. I was only ever on the standard rates even though the account was pretty much an online account.
My last bill was a paper bill and I also had a voicemail asking me to ring the reading through instead of an email. I know that online accounts have better rates(we hadnt switched to it because it tied you in for a year) but does anyone know if some sort of rule came in that if the account is run online then those rates should apply? I'm just suspicious to why npower would suddenly stop emailing me the bill and reading request.

Perhaps because you were on a fixed term contract which has now ended, that tariff no longer exists so you have been transferred to another tariff, read your bills carefully. If not then it's probably down the nightmares NPower is having with their new computer system and customers not being able to gain access to their online accounts, run an advanced search on this board for more information.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Hi rome1067,
npower are in the process of moving all of their Customers to their 'new system'.
Others have reported (on 20th and 24th March 2013) that the 'new system' was closed to receiving Meter Readings online until
17 April 2013: see Post #181 and the threads linked there.
Unfortunately, there are many issues with npower's 'new system' as documented in the long thread:
Warning: npower accept new customers without sending them a Contract
