Hi SC! Congratulations on moving in with your OH... i moved in with mine 9 months ago (going well so far!) - we have a 1 bed flat but thought my figures may help you:

Council Tax - £112 (we live in London though - i'd imagine £85 is norm. You can check banding on your local council's websites, divide by 10)
    TV License £11
Home Insurance £9.84 (contents - buildings is included by landlord. Our contents is through AA, and is for £40,000 worth of stuff as we have RIDICULOUS amounts of music. Bargain. Went thru Quidco)
    BT landline & Internet: £25
Gas & Elec & Water: £60 each (we budget this and usually have some left over per quarter)
    Food: £150 (and we're drinkers!)

    We have freeview too.

Some rental flats come with curtains, some don't... our landlady felt the need to remove lightbulbs!? (!) and one of the curtain rails. She's a bit special.
    xx

£10 a month is good for contents - we will need decent cover given darling boyf has an electric drumkit for practice (he better not bring his acoustic set too!!! ) and loads of gadgets and a HUGE spec computer.

£60 EACH for Gas/Elec/Water!!!!! i was budgeting this for all of them together! :o

I'm hoping to get food down from £200 by using stardrops for all cleaning and buying bargain brands 9OH is a snob until he trys things!) :rotfl:

We have a 4 bed detached and pay £75 pm for gas and elec combined! And we are currently in credit so due a refund and the amount we pay each month should come down by a few £!

So yours should be a lot cheaper than that. :D

We also pay £14 pm for contents with Direct Line.
