Wind blew my mini greenhouse over

I gave up with my 4 tier growhouse. After the first blowaway event I reassembled it and put a paving slab across the bottom rungs, with string running underneath it and tied to the next set of horizontals. Next windy day, everything above the tied-on struts went across the garden. More string, duct tape around the (by then) broken joints, the wind still got under the zipped-up cover - which was attached with 16 cable-ties poked through it - and ripped it. The cable ties survived.

Now I keep the shelves on it with no cover, and it's good for drying paper briquettes.

I'm sorry to hear so many more people have lost their greenhouses. Tonight the wind is howling with huge gusts blowing every few minutes. I just hope it doesn't damage the trees. We are still cutting branches from the laurels damaged in the last snow a few weeks ago.

I bought new seeds today so I hope to start re sowing tomorrow. I just have to find enough space indoors to keep them.

Hope there aren't too many more casualties.
