.....I accidently picked up three ... Is it me!
No it's not just you LittleBill, I picked up ten of these today and have just spent a happy half hour cutting out the coupons from them and from the Sainsburys magazine. Sadly I never found any 60p off leaflets so had to use a tiny little 30p off one that was in the previous little till-side booklet from July. I have lots of those and will keep using them each time I get a Sainsburys mag from now till I use them all up.
The coupons on the student booklet are for useful items and have such a long expiry too, I hope I can get some accepted at the till each time at Sainsburys.
I am wondering if the £10 off £50 wyb electricals/home stuff will be OK to use with the £5 off the Different by Design homeware coupon (from the Fresh Ideas magazine, for those of you that were sent it, as I was!). I expect so, and as long as I have spent £50 in total even if your £50 includes some food. They should work anyway, that is unless you get the jobsworth on the till adding up what you've actually spent on homewares....
Glad you beat me to posting all the details about these mags, LittleBill, all that typing must have given you repetitive strain injury, lol, maybe that is why your signature says 'practice' (noun) instead of 'practise' (verb)....OMG give me a slap, I have got myself in pedantic mode, sorry sorry sorry sorry!:rotfl:PRIVATE 'PCN'? pmsl coupon mad. Remember me saying you were my long lost sister?
I try and keep my mouth shut these days cos used to pull everyone about their spelling! :rotfl:
My chief irritations are definately and your when it should be you're.
Neither matter in the grand scheme of things and I know it shouldn't but it bugs me. (And it's I before E except after n here too LOL)
And my typing is worse than anyone's English!
You really MUST be my long lost sister!I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -
Don't know what came over me, hope I haven't upset LB, I am not normally one to comment on signatures but the word 'practice' always jumps off the page (or off the screen) at me when used instead of 'practise'.
Being in pedantic mode must mean I'm getting in practice to 'help' my kiddies with their homework now they are back at school. They hate it when I start correcting their punctuation, when all they have asked for advice on is a spelling, lol!
Now let's get back to those magazines, we need some good coupons to concentrate our minds......PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Dear Coupon-mad ...
Many thanks for your input colleague .... :rotfl: .... I am notoriously bad at spelling ... Do you notice that all of my posts are edited? ... It is not helped by typing on an iMac set to English/American ... if there was ever such a thing! ....
Thank you for knowing the difference and pointing out my error ....
My thought for the day will be this ... Were you a kinder soul for pointing this out to me ?
... or was our Beloved MBN kinder for overlooking it for so long .... ....
There is one shining light ... No.1 son was Top Speller (Is that a word?) in his year last term ... Blessedly the dumb stick has skipped a generation .... :rotfl:
Happy Coupon Hunting

I'm sure you haven't offended Little Bill. It's all in good spirit is it not?
I am a very good speller but useless on the PC. I haven't a clue how to do lots of things and my typing is abysmal and often looks as if in fact I can't spell, punctuate or use capitals in the correct place!
We all have our strengths and our weaknesses and that's what makes us all unique:beer: DEFINITELY!!;)I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -
