No worries at all rosieprimrose, my post was more like a question, bit puzzled as to why I never get the mag (now I know why, thanks to you :)). I do get the Nectar mailings with coupons though, and also the total spend coupons from Sainsbury's - these are the most important ones anyway. ;)

Thanks again for your post, much appreciated :A

  • I don't go in Sainsbury's much anymore, although when I go to big one near me I spend a bit on clothing in the sales maybe £50-£60 every few months. I have nearly 18,000 (will have nearly 19,000 when I get my Bzz bonus) which I have got through being in the Christmas Club, using Nectar eStores for my eBay bids, TNS Surveys, Brewers Fayre, sometimes for other eStores purchases too so although I don't shop much in Sainsbury's I do really well with Nectar points - usually minimum of around 500-600 a month. I don't get booklets in the post much now though, I used to about a year ago but suddenly they seemed to have stopped. Guess I'm not loyal enough anymore? I don't get the bonus points coupons anymore now either.

Ok, following on from this I phoned nectar and eventually you get through to an operator. The operators appear to be in India but they are very nice, you just need to speak very clearly and spell everything. They ask for your nectar card number, DOB, address and insist on giving you your balance. You need to ask them what your mailing flag is set at (or mailing preference) and then if it is "no" ask to rest it to "yes" and they ask you if you want bonus coupons etc. It then can take 3 to 4 months for things to start arriving.
Mine is a very old card so I think that might be the problem but now I think about it I think I have had bonus coupons, useless ones though but never the total spend vouchers or the Fresh ideas magazine
Sorry to get any hopes up!!!

I assumed that all nectar card holders received it, but when I had a look at the cover letter just now, I see that it says it is sent to ''our most loyal Nectar card holders'' (well done MBN)!!

Must admit that I have been a loyal customer over the past 2 years because my eldest has worked there and we have had 10% off all shopping (sometimes 15%) but now that he is off to Uni, I won't be so ''loyal'' as it can be a pricey store!!

Here is a phone number that you call call to request a copy of the mag - am sure it is worth a try; 0870 4 100 100 - or you could try the website.
